The festival presents an exceptional program with: a tribute to Jean Rouch in 25 films, a retrospective of the taiwanese filmmaker Hou Hsia Hsien and another one dedicated to the italian scriptwriter  Cesare Zavattini (22 films).

 

AWARDS

Pedro Costa wins for a second time the Grand Prix for the Best Foreign Feature film for Ossos.

Emmanuelle Bercot wins the Grand Prix for the Best Short film for Les Vacances, which reveals Isild Le Besco.

The Grand Prix for the Best Documentary is given (ex aequo) to Pierre Carles for Pas vu, pas pris (which also wins the Audience Documentary Award) and Cécile Déroudille, L'Affaire Dubuffet.

Rafi Pitts wins the Audience Foreign Feature film Award for his first feature film Cinquième saison.
