This year is marked by the departure of Janine Bazin, the founder and art director of the festival, and by the arrival of Bernard Benoliel, her successor. 

Other major events at Entrevues, the complete retrospective and the exhibition dedidacted to the polish filmmaker Jerzy Skolimovski, which was also marked by the reunion of the director and the famous french actor Jean-Pierre Léaud, 35 films after their collaboration on Le Départ. But also, a tribute to Bulle Ogier, through a selection of 23 films.  

 

ASTONISHING AWARDS

Among the international competition, Jean-Paul Civeyrac received the Grand Prix of the Jury for Best French Feature film for his third feature film Fantômes. And Wang Chao received the Grand Prix of the Jury for Best Foreign Feature film L'Orphelin d'Anyang.

Jean Claude Rousseau is awarded the Grand Prix for Best French Short film for Keep in Touch, his third film. The Special Mention of the Grand Prix for Best Foreign Short film is awarded to Miguel Gomes for his second short film Inventario de natal.
Alain Guiraudie received the Gérard Frot-Coutaz award for his film Ce vieux rêve qui bouge. And Rabah Ameur-Zaimeche received the Leo Scheer award for Wesh Wesh, qu'est ce qui se passe ?.

Also among the selection of the competition : Sergei Loznitsa (The Halt), John Gianvito (The mad song of Fernanda Hussein), Michel Piccoli (La Plage noire), Thomas Salvador (Là, Ce jour), Thierry Jousse (Nom de code : Sacha) and Arnaud des Pallières (Disneyland, mon vieux pays natal).
