20th edition of Entrevues, starting with a tribute to Bernadette Lafont, one of the most loyal follower and personality of the festival. A program composed by 27 films, which drawn the path of the famous french actress, from Les Mistons by François Truffaut to Nous sommes toujours encore ici by Anne-Marie Miéville. But also, a major complete retrospective of Milos Forman, the director of Vol au dessus d'un nid de coucou (1975), Taking Off (1971), Hair (1979) or Amadeus (1984).
AWARDS OF THE 20TH EDITION
The french actor and filmmaker Eric Caravaca wins the Grand Prix for a French Feature film and the Audience Feature film award for his director debut Le Passager. Marilyne Canto receives the Grand Prix French Short film for her second film Fais de beaux rêves. Emmanuel Gras (aka Eman Oktai) is awarded of the Grand Prix for the best Short Documentary film for Tweety lovely superstar.
The Distribution support award is given to Joana Hadjithomas & Khalil Joreige for their film A Perfect Day. And Katell Quillévéré receives the Audience Short film award for A bras le corps, her first short film.
Among the selection of the competition, we also remember: Joseph Morder (El Cantor), Denis Côté (Les Etats nordiques), Ira Sachs (Forty Shades of blue), Joao Pedro Rodrigues (Odete), Frank Beauvais (A genoux), the photograoher and video artist Antoine d’Agata (El Cielo del muerto) and Patric Chiha (Les Messieurs).
