In her inn in the middle of the Algerian Sahara, a woman writes her story. She welcomes, in exchange for a cigarette, coffee or eggs, truckers, wandering souls and dreams… Her name is Malika.

From 2003 to 2008 Hassen Ferhani co-hosted a film club in Algiers. He has directed the shorts: Algiers Bays in 2006, Afric Hotel in 2010 (co-directed with Nabil Djedouani), Tarzan, Don Quixote and Us in 2013. In 2015, his first documentary feature Roundabout in My Head, Grand Prix at FID Marseille and Audience Award in Entrevues, is an international success.
