Li works by night and sleeps by day; his roommate’s rhythm is the opposite. In an underground housing, the two men share the same bed, but never at the same time. Their brief encounters and the room they share form a temporary shelter, a home they will soon have to leave in a vast city which never stops growing.
Ivan Marković graduated from the Faculty of Drama Arts in Belgrade in cinematography studies in 2012 then studied at the University of Arts in Berlin. White Bird, co-directed with Wu Linfeng, premiered at the Berlinale Shorts in 2016. In 2018, his experimental documentary short film Centar premiered at Doclisboa. Born in China, Wu Linfeng graduated in Film Directing at Lasalle College of the Art in Singapore, then started his film production company in Beijing in 2013. From Tomorrow On, I Will is their first feature film.
