On an idle Sunday, Simon – an 18-year old Atikamekw – is hanging out with his two best friends, mulling over his life and clings on to the memory of his lost dogs. 

Born in 2001, Simon Weizineau is from the Atikamekw community of Wemotaci in Quebec. After participating as a cameraman in the 2018 Wapikoni workshop, he directed his first short The Lord’s Day with them.
