In order to get over the death of her friend Yuki, with whom she lived, Sachi quits her previous job to work as a waitress and moves into a new flat. Although she is still haunted by her presence, Sachi strives to build her own life, under the watchful eye of her aunt, colleagues, and friends.
Kyoshi Sugita studied at Rikkyo University in Tokyo. After graduation, he worked as an assistant for directors such as Kiyoshi Kurosawa and Nobuhiro Suwa. His first two films (A Song I Remember in 2011, Listen to Light in 2017) premiered at Tokyo International Film Festival. Haruhara San’s Recorder won the Grand Prize at FIDMarseille.
