All Sounds Within

After studying Art History and Anthropology in Berlin Salka Tiziana studied film in Hamburg and Buenos Aires. Her first feature film, For the Time Being, premiered at Bright Future in IFFR in 2020. Todos Los Sonidos Entran Adentro is her graduation film from the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg (HFBK).

 

NOTICE OF THE SELECTION COMITEE

In the heart of the heart of this city, from dawn to dusk, Todos los sonidos entran adentro invites us to a hypnagogic experience of cinema. Carried by an inner voice-over, which only manifests itself through a few inserts, the film proposes a journey into a world's natural entropy where, between traces of the Civil War and road signs, the human presence has never seemed to fade away so gracefully–the opposite of a "ruin porn" aesthetic so common nowadays. The grainy 16mm image becomes a vessel of the materiality of this microcosm where even the dogs let themselves go to their becoming-sheep and graze the grass peacefully.
