Cine-concert: Go West — Buster Keaton

Through the unlikely friendship between a penniless drifter and a cow destined for the slaughterhouse, Buster Keaton creates with Go West a tender, burlesque anti-western.

Playing a clumsy, soft-hearted cowboy, he subverts the classic codes of the American West to craft a comedy of rare humanity. This silent masterpiece takes on new life in a cine-concert performed by pianist Vladimir Sekula from Belfort, whose offbeat score accentuates both the film’s poetry and its irony.
