OUR INTERNATIONAL JURY AWARDS

A jury of 5 film professionals from around the world will give out the Grand Prix Janine Bazin and the Grand Prix André S. Labarthe

Grand Prix Janine Bazin (Best feature film) – 8,000 euros
Paid for by the city of Belfort, this prize is awarded to one of the international films in competition. The winner automatically receives support from the GNCR, which will support the film upon its theatrical release.

Grand Prix André S. Labarthe (Best short film) – 3,500 euros
Awarded to a medium-length or short film.

OUR ONE+ONE JURY AWARD

A jury comprised of a musician, a composer, and a sound engineer will award:

The One+One Award – 2,500 euros
Awarded to one of the international films in competition for its remarkable, innovative, and liberated sound design.

Our Documentary Jury Award

Documentary Award
Supported by Documentaire sur grand écran in the form of support for theatrical distribution, and by the Cinémathèque du documentaire through the purchase of non-commercial screening rights for its Images de la Culture catalogue. The award is given to a feature-length or short documentary from the International selection.

Our Young Jury Award

A jury made up of young people from the Territoire de Belfort département. In partnership with Pass Culture

The Young Jury Award – 1,000 euros
Awarded to one of the feature films in the International Competition.

PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS

After each screening of a film in competition, every spectator will vote for People’s Choice Awayd (for feature films and short films)

People’s Choice Award for Best Feature Film – 3,000 euros
People’s Choice Award for Best Short Film – 1,700 euros

OUR [FILMS EN COURS] JURY AWARD

The [Films en cours] Award
Awarded to a feature film in the final stages of picture editing, to support its further post-production. The prize is supported by our partners La Puce à l’Oreille, Studio Orlando, Grand Action and Fondation En Revanche, coordinated by Elsa Cohen. More information here.

OUR GÉRARD FROT-COUTAZ JURY AWARD

A jury comprised of three professionals working in film and culture

Gérard Frot-Coutaz Award, under the patronage of the Fondation de France – 12,000 euros
Awarded to a French filmmaker for his or her first narrative feature film released this year.
