Live cinematic concert : Rodolphe Burger

For the 40th edition of the Entrevues festival, we are honored to present Rodolphe Burger’s new project.

Conceived as a “cinema-album,” his seventh solo album Avalanche is transformed into an unprecedented ciné-concert: Burger alone on stage, accompanied by projections crafted by editor Cynthia Delbart, inspired by the cinematic references drawn by his friend, the writer Pierre Alferi. Rock, sonic experimentation, and cinematic memory: Avalanche opens a hybrid space where music is as much to be seen as it is to be heard.

The awards list features films that take risks, both in form and perspective, embodied by a generation of filmmakers who explore the personal by confronting the political, often within fragile or unstable settings. This collection, for its 40th edition, reaffirms Entrevues as a testing ground where lucid and unique cinematic approaches are invented.
