The poster for the 41st edition!
This year, Entrevues entrusted the making of its new poster to Strasbourg-based graphic designer Le Futur!
For this purpose, he chose a film still of Jeanne Moreau taken from Jacques Demy’s Bays of Angels. Here’s how he describes his work:
The staircase evokes directors taking their first steps; their journey — and that of their works — through history. This design conveys their evolution through time, an ascent, films of the past and of the future. In a single stroke, it conceals and reveals the gaze of a film icon, an image from the past glimpsed through a more contemporary outline with its tangy pop colours. An encounter between heritage cinema and emerging artists, if you will; and a play with blocks that invites us to explore new perspectives and discover new film talents — just as the Entrevues festival has been passionately doing for the last 41 years.
