El invierno llega después del otoño

Thus pass the seasons and love stories. With the melody of a popular song, El Invierno llega después del otoño leads us into a two-four waltz, allowing us to follow the lives of two ex-lovers well after the end of their story together. Through this double movement, with its rhythms and variations, the film unfolds a musical score that takes the viewer into the complexity of the protagonists, resounds with their weaknesses, and lets their solitude vibrate. Malena Solarz and Nicolás Zukerfeld achieve an impressive transparency and a highly fluid staging in this work. They take a close and truthful look at those young people in their thirties, barely less lost than adolescents, and already so much more melancholic.  (Laurence Reymond)
