A group of amateur actors, immigrants from Calais’ Jungle, take over the roles of Belmondo and his fellows in Week-end at Zuydcoote film by Henri Verneuil portraying French soldiers seeking to embark for England during the military defeat of 1940.

Raphaël Botiveau is graduate from Le Fresnoy and holds a Phd in political science. Filmmaker, teacher and researcher, he works in France and South Africa.

Hélène Baillot holds a Phd in political science and teaches in Science Po Aix. London Calling is her first short film.
