Li works by night and sleeps by day; his roommate’s rhythm is the opposite. In an underground housing, the two men share the same bed, but never at the same time. Their brief encounters and the room they share form a temporary shelter, a home they will soon have to leave in a vast city which never stops growing.
Ivan Marković a obtenu son diplôme de chef opérateur à la faculté des Arts Dramatiques de Belgrade en 2012, puis a étudié à l’Université des Arts de Berlin. White Bird, co-réalisé avec Wu Linfeng, a été présenté à la Berlinale en 2016. En 2018, son court documentaire expérimental Centar a été sélectionné à Doclisboa. Né en Chine, Wu Linfeng, a étudié la réalisation au Lasalle College of the Art à Singapour puis a créé sa société de production à Beijing en 2013. From Tomorrow On, I Will est leur premier long métrage.
