Noel and his mother Michelle form a strange couple. They cannot live without one another but as soon as they get together the atmosphere becomes highly charged. Through long conversations and moments of silence, the exploration of a mother-son relationship in its most tragical as well as its most comical details.
Né à Lyon en 1986, Arthur Dreyfus est écrivain et réalisateur. Ses livres, publiés chez Gallimard, ont été traduits dans plusieurs langues. Côté cinéma, il a réalisé Contes d’acteurs, une série de documentaires expérimentaux filmés à l’iPhone, produits par Ciné+, avec Arielle Dombasle ou Françoise Fabian. L’auteur développe également un travail photographique. Noël et sa mère est son premier long métrage documentaire.
