Lucas, a combat sports fan and his mystically inclined older sister Gilda, are trapped by a coach strike in a small coastal town where they have travelled to fulfill their dead mother’s last wishes. Mateo Bendesky est diplômé de l’Universidad del cine de Buenos Aires. Il a réalisé le long métrage Acá adentro (sélectionné au Bafici en 2013) et les courts El ser magnético (à la Cinéfondation à Cannes en 2015) et Nosotros solos (à Toronto en 2017). Son deuxième long métrage Los miembros de la familia est montré pour la première fois au Panorama de la Berlinale. Il prépare actuellement son troisième long métrage La fiebre.
